Big Trouble in Little China Comic Book

You know what ol’ Jack Burton always says at a time like this?

Boom! Studios tweeted this image, which seems to suggest that they will be publishing a comic based on John Carpenter’s 1986 movie Big Trouble in Little China.

While the face is cut off, possibly because likeness rights might be in the works, clearly the image is of Jack Burton, Kurt Russell’s character from the movie. And the signature of the artist in the bottom corner is Eric Powell, creator of The Goon.

Big Trouble in Little China might have been a financial flop when it was release, but it has since become a cult classic. And I don’t know why it pereformed badly at the box office because this movie in awesome. You can find it on Netflix and Amazon instant video. If you haven’t seen this movie before you need to check it out now.
