Iron Patriot
Tony Stark may meet his match when Iron Man 3 flies to the screen. The next entry in the Iron Man trilogy will feature the Iron Patriot armor. The Patriot’s red, white, and blue armor first appeared in 2009’s Dark Avengers #1, and was worn by Norman Osborn.
In the comic books Osborn took technology from Stark Industries to create the Iron Patriot armor. However, Osborn is a Spider-Man villain, and the Spider-Man rights belong to Sony Pictures, so a different character will be wearing the armor in Iron Man 3.
