BE A FORCE FOR CHANGE
To celebrate four decades of Star Wars, Omaze, UNICEF, and the Starlight Children’s Foundation are teaming up to help children around the world with the new “Force for Change” campaign.
The campaign offers incredible prizes like the chance to appear in the untitled Han Solo movie currently in production or walking the red carpet at the world premiere of “The Last Jedi” later this year. Fans can even win a chance to stay overnight at George Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch in California.
“For 40 years, you’ve been the best fans in the world, bringing the franchise to life in ways we could have never imagined,” said Mark Hamill in a video announcement on Good Morning America. “Now, it’s our chance to celebrate you!”
The first Star Wars film was released in May of 1977, and so the campaign runs until May 11. Fans can head to Omaze.com/StarWars to enter.
Everybody wants to know what happens in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Daisy Ridley can’t escape it. Her Murder on the Orient Express co-star, Josh Gad, posted an Instagram video where he, Penélope Cruz, and even J.J. Abrams tries to get her to spill the beans.

BOOTLEGS FROM FAR FAR AWAY
There are only 7 days left in the Kickstarter campaign by The Outer Realm to produce a book about vintage unlicensed Star Wars toys starting from 1977. The book will covers toys from the earliest U.S. sold knock offs looking to cash in on Star Wars before the Kenner toys hit the shelves, to items from Soviet Bloc countries where licensed Star Wars items were illegal to import, and everything in between.
Additional rewards will include t-shirts and buttons.
